Alna Intelligence, the leading provider of IT services and consultancy in the Baltics, and Alna Software, one of the major customized software builders in the region, help to implement a Basel II risk management and regulatory compliance solution by Financial Architects at one of the largest banks in Lithuania - Snoras Bank -and its Latvian subsidiary Latvijas Krajbanka.
Alna Intelligence and Financial Architects(FinArch) have established a cooperation agreement in early 2007 in order to promote and implement risk management solutions for financial institutions in the Baltics, based on FinArch‘s flagship Financial Studio™ suite.
In the project at Snoras Bank Group, Alna has provided sales support and integration services for FinArch as a local provider with extensive experience in banking environments, data integration and transformation services.
“Using the new software, reports about capital and asset risk reports recognized by SNORAS Bank according to international standards will be formed; this software will ensure even greater thoroughness and clarity of information issued by the bank. Cooperating with Alna Intelligence and FinArch, companies of solid reputation, we measure up to other international financial institutions, which use their products”, states Gitanas Kancerevičius, a member of Bankas SNORAS management and Risk Management Department Director.      
Year 2007 has presented financial institutions in Lithuania, as well as in all Europe, with need to establish a functional, scalable and flexible reporting solution for compliance with European Capital Adequacy Directive. Banks in Lithuania shall have to implement Standardized Approach reporting by the end of this year. Snoras bank has selected to meet this challenge by implementing Financial Studio across its main and subsidiary operations.
