Alna became the first company in Lithuania to provide professional BPO services for application development and maintenance for the financial services sector. The financial institution hands over its entire IT infrastructure to be managed by professionals at Alna, allowing itself to concentrate entirely on its core activities. Following this model Alna signed a five-year software outsourcing agreement worth nearly 1 million Euro with Nord/LB, one of the largest banks in Lithuania. Under this accord, we assumed management responsibility of the Nord/LB IT Department Software Development Division and continue to deliver on-demand software applications.

Additionally, it was our quality standards and experience that underlay the decision of Deutsche Bank to chose Alna Software as its nearshore software development provider.

Our accumulated knowledge about the activities and processes of the banking business was an incentive to start developing our own solutions for the management of banks’ activities. The first solution we offered to the market was Inkasis, a cash management systems, designed for the management of cash collection and delivery operations at a bank. Inkasis is already being employed by several banks in Lithuania.
