The telecommunications segment is one of the longest-established fields of expertise in Alna Software. Our focus is custom application development, particularly of business support systems (BSS), such as customer administration, self-care solutions, billing, etc.

Alna began with the development of business support solutions on a LHS BSCS platform for a local telecommunications service provider. Thereafter, having become one of the major software development partners for the country’s largest telecommunications companies, Alna Software started to successfully outsource its industry expertise to international solutions providers, such as LHS and Ericsson Erisoft. In 2003, Alna signed a strategic partnership agreement with LHS (formerly SchlumbergerSema) BSS Software Products unit to jointly deliver business support solutions for telecommunication services providers worldwide. Our first common customer was a major Mexican mobile service provider, for which Alna and LHS team created a large-scale, customised billing system.
Alna Group has also executed a number of joint projects with telecommunication providers. One example is an “E-City”, an information portal for citizens, businesses and city guests. Another example is Tracker, a vehicle tracking solution developed by Alna specialists. A mobile phone voting system, that we created, is another very popular service used by marketing campaigns and TV shows for public opinion analysis.
